04 Jun Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Self-Build Support
Robert Wilson Homes of Lincolnshire who use modern methods of construction to build new homes and extensions for self-build clients has just completed a new-build project in Middle Rasen using the Amvic ICF system.
Amvic ICF has many benefits over traditional construction, as Managing Director Robert Wilson explained, “We spent a lot of time researching and developing the idea of using ICF to help us build the kind of homes we feel our clients will really notice the benefits of owning.”
“Features such as low energy bills, less noise pollution from outside, and a real feeling of warmth and comfort inside can all be expected in these polystyrene houses.”
“Our ethos at Robert Wilson Homes is to support and encourage more people to build their own homes to suit their lifestyle, rather than having to adapt their lifestyle to a home built by someone else. And so whilst we’re building that new home, with all the features the customer wants, it makes sense to construct it to perform better too, and that’s where ICF comes in.”
Robert Wilson Homes are about to begin building their next custom home for a self-builder, a code level 6 passive house in South Lincolnshire, and are already updating their self-build blog about the project on their website.
